Armita Manafzadeh

Armita is a Donnelley Postdoctoral Environmental Fellow and NSF Postdoctoral Research in Biology Fellow affiliated with the Yale Institute for Biospheric Studies, Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Yale Peabody Museum of Natural History, and Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science. She earned her PhD in 2022 from the Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology at Brown University and her BA in 2016 from the Department of Integrative Biology at UC Berkeley. Armita is interested in how joints work and where they come from, both developmentally and evolutionarily.
